Baltique® by Totally Bamboo

Over 20 years ago, our first bamboo cutting boards came from scraps from our handmade furniture we were selling at street festivals.

On a lark, we brought them to an art show we were exhibiting in. We were stunned when they sold in minutes. Joanne looked at Tom and said "this is our new product" and Totally Bamboo was born!

Our Baltique® line combined our backgrounds, Joanne is an artist and Tom is a woodworker. We selected color combinations inspired by breathtaking locations around the world then meticioulsy shaped each utensil to bring out an eye-catching array of colors.

We hope these colorful utensils can spark joy in your home both when in use and when out on the counter.

Will the color fade or run on the Baltique® utensils?

Our Baltique® utensils are coated with a food-safe lacquer to help preserve the colors of the utensils. With proper treatment, the lacquer will protect the color for a long time.  
All wooden or bamboo utensils require a little extra care to ensure their longevity. To keep the color looking brand new on your Baltique® utensils, hand wash them in warm water after each use and let them air dry. Avoid soaking them in water or using them for frying as this could damage them.
