"I'd gotten one of these for myself and really like it. . . "just a pinch of salt"! Purchased two more to give to two of my children. One thing. . . it would be handy if it had a wee little spoon or scoop that could maybe rest in a little bracket on one side. . . nothing big. . . maybe just a little thing a couple of inches long that would hold like a 1/4 teaspoon. Very nice, but could be polished and packaged better

"The wood is attractive and the open/close action is great. The magnet works just right so that it closes snugly and yet is easy to open. The item arrived with a torn price sticker on the lid. After scraping it off, there was an adhesive residue that was difficult to remove. Also, the box was not fully sanded on the inside, so the inside was a bit rough compared to the outside."

"I had previously purchased this same item for myself and was very satisfied with it so ordered one for my daughter and son-in-law as Christmas gift. However, this one arrived with sticky, gluey residue across the top where a sticker had obviously been removed. I certainly could not give this as a gift in that condition, so used Dawn dish detergent and a "scrubby" to remove the residue but it did not come off easily. Not sure I will be ordering from this company again."
