Beautiful, but not usable

"It looks great, very cute. But the grinding gears are made of plastic. I don’t think it can grind peppercorns without also grinding off some plastic into your food. This is unacceptable. The gears must be made of a hard metal in order to be safe. It makes a nice knicknack (for display only), but I wouldn’t actually use it to grind pepper."

Does not grind well.

"I love the look of this so much, but it does not grind well and will not sit flat on the table when filled and used. So disappointed."

I had to have it!

"I bought this pepper mill and use it for sea salt. A friend of mine saw it sitting on my counter in a picture and absolutely loved it so I bought one for her as a gift. It’s so adorable and I wish that similar owl figures for the kitchen could be made."

Deborah S. (5/5)

is almost too cute to

"is almost too cute to use, but will. one is a wedding gift for a bride who loves fresh pepper; would have gotten one for myself anyway, but an "insider" said the receiver would be so pleased; as wildlife rehabbers who have rescued many owls, and as women who actively support women in business, this is uniquely appropriate. Thank you."
